 உன்னைப் பெண் பார்த்ததும்
 தள்ளிப் பின் பார்த்ததும்
 சுட்டாலும் மறக்காது நெஞ்சம்
 முற்றும் சொன்னதில்லை
 தமிழுக்கு பஞ்சம்

 தலையைத் துண்டிப்பதால்
 தீராது என் காதல் என்பேன்
 நீ தீ அள்ளி தின்ன சொல் தின்பேன்
